At 45cm across it has a deep, enveloping voice with a long sustain — strike it slowly for a steady heartbeat pulse, or build the tempo to carry yourself into a focused, meditative state. Played with the supplied beater, the open back cradled in one hand.
Hand-made in Indonesia from a wooden frame and string-tensioned hide, and sourced on a Fair Trade basis. A generous size for sound work, drum circles and performance.
