Full-moon singing bowl No.121, beaten by hand in Nepal on the day of a full moon. Every bowl is unique, carries its own inscription and ships with a certificate of authenticity — lovely for sound healing, meditation or simply to play. Comes with a complimentary beater made from locally grown Haldu wood.
Where a standard Nepalese bowl uses a five-metal 'bell metal' alloy (copper, iron, tin, lead, zinc), full-moon bowls add ten grams of silver and two grams of gold per 100kg of bronze, said to hold the purifying qualities of sun and moon (the precious metals don't change the sound). Designs vary bowl to bowl. Hand-made in Nepal, supplied by a member of Fair Trade Group Nepal; a single, unique piece.
