Mini Mandala Monkey Drum 21cm

A neat little stick-and-bead hand drum — known as a monkey or pellet drum — with a turned wooden handle and a goat-skin head painted with an intricate mandala. Roll the handle between your palms and the two beads whip round to strike each face, building a fast, hypnotic rattle. No technique needed: it plays itself the moment you start twisting.

Hand-made in Indonesia and sourced on a Fair Trade basis, supporting fair wages for the makers. Each mandala is hand-painted, so patterns vary slightly.
