Special Etched Green Tara Singing Bowl
Our Tibetan singing bowls are hand-beaten in Nepal by skilled artisans, using the traditional seven-metal alloy. Struck or played around the rim with a wooden or suede beater, a singing bowl produces a deep, sustaining tone used the world over for meditation, sound healing, yoga, relaxation and ritual.
Here you will find every kind: hand-beaten bowls, each with its own voice; rare Full Moon (Lunar) bowls forged on the full moon; ornate etched and special bowls; affordable machine-made sets ideal for beginners; and all the cushions, beaters and accessories to go with them. Every bowl handmade in Nepal and purchased through a member of Fair Trade Group Nepal.
New to singing bowls? Smaller, lighter bowls tend to ring higher and brighter, while larger, heavier bowls give a deeper, longer tone. Rest the bowl on a cushion, strike gently or circle the rim slowly with the beater, and let it sing.
