Super-moon singing bowl No.73, hand-forged in Nepal on a super moon — the larger, brighter full moon that falls only three or four times a year. Individually beaten, inscribed and supplied with a certificate of authenticity: a true one-of-a-kind bowl for sound healing, meditation or display, with a complimentary Haldu-wood beater.
Super-moon and full-moon bowls add ten grams of silver and two grams of gold to the traditional five-metal 'bell metal' alloy (copper, iron, tin, lead, zinc) per 100kg of bronze — said to carry the purifying, astral significance of sun and moon, with no effect on the tone. Inscriptions are traditional but vary (see images). Hand-made in Nepal and supplied by a member of Fair Trade Group Nepal; a single, unique item.
