Beaded Cabasa (Gourd)

Inspired by the original African cabasa, this version uses a dried, hollowed gourd wrapped in a net of colourful beads on a turned wooden handle. Hold the gourd and twist the handle back and forth for a bright, crisp shimmer. The small hand movement needed makes the cabasa a favourite in music therapy.

Hand-made in India and sourced on a Fair Trade basis.
