A small mango-wood hand drum from India, traditionally shaken by street vendors to draw a crowd — held in the middle and rocked so the knotted strikers whip round and tap each skin. The damru (or damaru) also carries deep meaning in Hinduism, often shown in the hand of Shiva in his dancing Nataraja form.
Hand-made in India and sourced on a Fair Trade basis.
