A shekere made in Ghana from a dried gourd wrapped in a net of Job's tears (and sometimes colourful beads). Held by the neck and slapped between hand and thigh, it gives that lovely 'chi-chi-chi' rattle that sits so well with djembe rhythms. These are the larger of the current batch — gourd size varies with the season, currently around 25–35cm.
Hand-made and sourced on a Fair Trade basis.
